• Mention specific prescription medications (although this has been regulation for a while now)
• Share before-and-after photos that imply guaranteed results or results that are clearly from a schedule 4 medicine
• Post client testimonials or reviews related to results
• Use phrases like “anti-ageing,” “wrinkle-free,” “look younger fast etc”
• Advertise or advise of pricing without a face to face consultation or Promote discounts linked to urgency in relation to scheduled medicines (like “Book now & save today!”)

Who is this for?

This three step peel system is indicated specifically to address UV damage, however it can also be used to treat problematic skin concerns.

Using a retinol can increase collagen production and skin cell turnover, helps to treat acne, unclog pores, minimise fine lines and wrinkles, and even out skin tone. Skin cell turnover in simple terms, means dead skin cells that might otherwise cause dullness or acne prone skin are sloughed away and replaced before they’re able to cause problems. Unlike chemical exfoliants which work by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells, retinol speeds up the process of skin cell renewal.
It is ideal to start using retinol in your mid-late 20s in order to prevent damage from occurring. After all, it’s easier to prevent a wrinkle than get rid of one!
Start introducing retinol slowly into your routine about two or three times a week. After a few weeks, you can start using it almost every day dependent on your skin tolerance.

Always advise your medical practitioner if you are taking ANY medications.
In the 24 hours prior to your appointment please:
-Avoid excessive sun exposure
-Avoid alcohol
-Avoid over the counter medications or multi vitamins that may cause blood thinning such as: Ibuprofen, Aspirin, fish oil, vitamin E, Ginko Biloba
*Please continue to take any regular blood thinning medication that has been prescribed to you by your GP e.g Warfarin, Clexane etc. (Expect bruising if on any of these)*
-If you are getting lip filler and you are prone to cold sores, it is always best to go to the pharmacy and purchase an over the counter anti-viral e.g. Acyclovir to prevent a cold sore flare up.
-Avoid using retinol products

Be sure to eat something before your appointment and stay hydrated!

Can I fly after injectable treatments?
YES! However, there are some guidelines that need to be followed.

You can fly immediately after anti-wrinkle injections. Dermal fillers are slightly different. It is advised to wait AT LEAST 1 week post dermal filler treatment.

Why the wait?

Dermal fillers work by integrating with your tissue increasing volume and binding water to the area, increasing moisture levels to the area treated.
This binding with the water in the treated areas that can be affected by the plane’s pressurisation, causing the area to swell. Also, incase of post treatment issues/complications, we don't want you flying halfway across the world as we won't be able to review you.
